Origin/History Of University Of Jos (UNIJOS)
The University of Jos was built up with the vision of being an inventive organization with extraordinary connection between ‘Town and gown’. The University of Jos began as a Campus of the University of Ibadan in November, 1971, with the arrangement of Professor E. A. Ayandele as its first Acting Principlal. Its first home was the current Township grounds of the University which is situated along Murtala Mohammed way, Jos.
