Origin/History Of University Of Abuja (UNIABUJA)
The University took off from a temporary site, comprised of three squares of building implied for an elementary school in Gwagwalada, labeled the “mini – campus”. Scholarly exercises began the mini – campus in 1990. Around the same time, the University was dispensed a scope of land covering more than 11,800 hectares along the Abuja city area – Gwagwalada street for the improvement of its principle campus.
The University of Abuja, Gwagwalada small campus is the principal campus of the college to be built up at take-off time. In spite of the fact that the college is step by step moving to the lasting site, up till this day, the grounds despite everything has two female lodgings and a young men’s inn making a sum of 3,000 understudies.
