2. Dentistry.

Candidates seeking admission to study Dentistry in UI, the Dentistry JAMB subject combination for UI are:

3. Human Nutrition.

Direct Entry (D.E) JAMB candidates seeking admission into UI to study Human Nutrition are to provide two (2) A level passes in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics plus UTME requirements.

While for UTME candidates, the official JAMB subject combination for Human Nutrition course in UI are:

  • English Language,
  • Physics,
  • Chemistry,
  • Biology.

UTME candidates are required to score at least, five (5) credit passes in their 0’level result in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

The College of Medicine in UI gives Preference to holders of the Professional Certificates of:

(i) Nigeria Registered Nurse or equivalent.
(ii) OND in Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science or Agriculture with a minimum of Upper Credit from a recognized Polytechnic.
(iii) NCE (Home Economics).
(iv) Certificate in Community Nutrition Technician from School of Health Technology provided the candidates meets the University of Ibadan O’Level admission criteria.

4. Medicine & Surgery.

Direct Entry Candidates: You are required to provide at least, 3 A level passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Zoology, including the JAMB requirements.

JAMB UTME Candidates:  B.Sc in relevant fields. English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates are required to score five (5) credit passes in their O’level result (Waec, Neco) in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

5. Nursing.

For DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES: D.E candidates are to provide two A level Passes from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, plus UTME requirements.

  • English Language,
