  5. The Applicant Must Have A Valid Certificate Of Origin
  6. The Applicant Must Not Be Convicted By Any Court Of Law In Nigeria
  7. The Applicant Must Be Fit Mentally And Physically
  8. The Applicant Must Possess Atleast Two Referees That Can Attest That The Applicant Is Of Good Character

  10. The Applicant Must Have A Valid National Identity Number
  11. Lastly The Applicant Must Have Atleast 5 Credits In SSCE/GCE/NECO Examinations

How Do I join The Nigerian Navy With My SSCE?

Just before you can be able to join the Nigerian Navy with SSCE, you need to meet some requirements and they are as follows;

  1. Applicants Must Possess Atleast 5 credits In Their WAEC/SSCE Results
  2. Any Applicant With Higher Educational Qualifications Like BSC, HND Should Not Apply For This Category

How To Join Nigerian Navy With SSCE

1. Applicants Must Possess Atleast 5 credits In Their WAEC/SSCE Results

There must be at least 5 credits in your first school leaving certificate results, that is WASSCE, NECO, GCE and others.

2. Any Applicant With Higher Educational Qualifications Like BSC, HND Should Not Apply For This Category

Higher educational qualifications cannot apply under this procedure.

3. Only Qualifications Obtained Through Normal Service Provisions Are Tenable After Joining

Any certificate not declared and accepted during the recruitment exercise is not acceptable after the exercise and cannot be tendered for the sake of change of branch or advancement in Navall service.

4. Applicants Must Be Between Age Of 18 To 22

Applicants older than 23 as at the time of registration cannot apply for this, they are only accepted on the procedure with higher education.

5. Applicants Must Not Have A Spouse Or Children

Applicants who want to join the Nigerian Navy through this procedure must not be presently married or married in the past, also they must not have any child thereof.

6. Parents And Guardian Consent Needed

Applicants must print out a copy of their guardians consent form and also have a copy of their Local Government Attestation form.

7. Applicants Must Be Nigerian

Applicants must be of Nigerian origin of birth, that is applicants who are of different nationalities cannot apply to the Nigerian Navy.

8. Applicants With Deformities Cannot Apply

Applicants that are handicaped in any way cannot apply to Nigerian Navy, even if they have their SSCE results with them. Disabilities like short sightedness, bow or k legs, ear problems, flat foot, stammering, fractures or any other disabilities.
